Nobody here

Wow. Has my traffic gone down over the past year.  I guess I don't wonder why.

To get readers, a blog needs content - regular updates, too. But I've been busy on Facebook and Twitter and just generally anything that keeps me from paying attention to -  caring for and feeding - this blog. Will I fix it, especially now (great timing!) that I've added AdSense, which, of course is earning exactly $0.00? Well, that's the question now, isn't it.

Update: April has brought me about a buck and a half in AdSense earnings. Woo!

You are in GR, yes? I'm not sure how I came across your blog, but for some reason I have you on my RSS feeds (I'm a little too quick to hit "subscribe", so I have over 200 blogs here and obviously don't always get to them all.)

But I am not sure if I know you from someone or if I just came across your blog at random . . . but I don't see the "GR Blogring" link on your sidebar--which is one way to re-boost your traffic . . .

I keep wanting to start a blogger's Meetup in Grand Rapids, but I haven't had the energy to try to get something started yet. maybe someday . . .

ps--I had a similar cancer scare last fall/winter . . . except if what I had really HAD been cancer, the prognosis was much more grim . . . interesting how I told myself that I would re-evaluate my life, etc . . . but it's crazy . . . I've virtually put it out of my mind, and all of the deep life questions I had at the time are gone now. interesting how we never learn . . .

Hi Lorraine - Yes, I'm in GR. I do have the GR blog ring; it's just not showing, which I suppose is the same as not having it, hmmm? I signed on a few years ago and it didn't have many blogs, but I'm sure it's grown. I should check it out again.

I wanted to get a meetup going a couple of years ago too - even took a poll on my other blog, but I'm not good on the actual organizing of such things ...

I know what you mean about how we never learn - sad, but all too true.
